Do I need an official Handicap to play in Phuket?
No proof of handicap is required to play at all of the Phuket courses.

Is there a Dress Code at the Golf Clubs?
Yes. Tailored shorts, t-shirts/sport shirts with collar, golf shoes and socks.
No sandals, running shoes, flip flops, vests, football shirts & shorts, cut down trousers or jeans.

Is rental equipment available?
Yes. All courses have clubs, shoes, umbrellas and chairs for hire

Are Golf Carts available?
Golf carts are optional at Blue Canyon Lakes Course and Loch Palm Golf Club and compulsory at  Mission Hills Golf Resort and Red Mountain Golf Club. Carts are strictly 1 golfer per cart.
Carts are allowed on the fairways and caddies will drive the cart for you. If there is heavy overnight carts may only be allowed on the cart paths.

How many people can play in 1 group?
The maximum number of golfers allowed per flight is 4 at all of the courses in Phuket. Loch Palm Golf Club will allow 5 golfers in one flight provided every golfer uses a golf cart. During High Season (November - April) when the golf courses are very busy, single players or a two ball may be asked to join to make a four ball.

How much should i tip the caddie?
The general rate in Phuket is 400 baht + depending on how satisfied you are with the service provided by your caddie.

When is the best time to visit Phuket?
November to April is high season in Phuket when you are guaranteed good weather.
In Low Season (May-October) you are more likely to have rain at sometime, but the courses are less crowded and hotels considerably cheaper.

What is the weather like?
The weather is hot all year round. Average temperatures in High Season are 32C and 30C in Low Season.

Will my green fee be refunded if it rains?
Rain storms are generally heavy but short. Drainage on all courses is very good, so play can continue quickly. If you are unable to complete your round due to persistent heavy rain rains checks for 9 or 18 holes will be issued by the golf course depending on how many holes you have completed. No cash refunds will be issued and rain checks are for green fees only. No refund will be made for caddy fees or rental equipment.

Do I need a visa to enter Thailand?
Most countries do not require a visa for tourists staying less than 30 days. Visas on arrival are available or contact a Thai consulate or embassy for a visa before you travel for confirmation.

What type of accommodation is available?
A wide range accommodation is available throughout Phuket, ranging from 5-star luxury hotels to simple bungalows. The price of accommodation depends on facilities, location and season. The general standard of hotels in Phuket is very high, in many cases belying their official star ratings. Exchange Kiosks and Banks are plentiful in all major resorts and generally exchange rates are better in Thailand.
